Tours:
Per request, Bee Downtown will give private tours of the Bee Downtown Rooftop Apiary and Observation Hive located on the American Tobacco Campus in Durham, NC. Each tour lasts about an hour. Guests will take a tour of the campus, visit the observation hive to learn about the inner workings of a hive, and finish at our rooftop apiary to take a short hands on class. Here, guests will dawn wonderful beekeeping attire, learn how to start and use a smoker, open up one of our 5 hives and taste honey fresh from the hive!
At the end of the class guests will receive a jar of Bee Downtown honey to remember a day well spent with our precious pollinators!
